DocSpitz (Toby), his wife Erica, and children Genevieve, Roya and Kannon, live in Morrison.  All natives of Colorado, they are surrounded by the things they value most; friends, faith and family. Outside of the office, you might run into them at the park, swimming, walking their dogs, or enjoying a meal out together.

DocSpitz, otherwise known as Dr. Toby Spitzlberger DC, was born and raised in Lakewood, CO. He left Colorado for the pacific waters of California where he earned a degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine at California Lutheran University. His studies led DocSpitz being second author of two research papers published in peer reviewed journals for his contribution to work done for the US Olympic Committee and the men’s and women’s javelin throwers of USA track and field.

DocSpitz continued his studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA. While at PCCW, he gained on-field experience at many different events throughout California, including: National Senior Games –Stanford University, Sea Otter Classic – Monterrey, Corona Wide Open Pro-Volleyball Tournament – Santa Cruz, US Half Marathon – San Francisco, and others. Because of his integrative methods and progressive philosophy, Doc Spitz was selected for an internship in the Veteran Affairs hospitals of California where he gained experience in appropriate referral, integrative care and multi-disciplinary patient management.

After graduating with honors from PCCW on 2011, DocSpitz moved back to Colorado and founded the DocSpitz Performance Clinic in Littleton.

DocSpitz continues to pursue training and holds certifications in Advanced Dry Needling, Graston Technique, Myofascial Release, Sports Physical Examination, and National Academy of Sports Medicine: Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise specialist.

DocSpitz’s comprehensive and movement-oriented approach to myofascial therapy make him very effective as he works with patients representing all walks of life. He loves what he does and the people that he works with, and considers himself to be very blessed.
